Transmission mode:

The feed pump of filter press is usually installed with direct drive, but due to the limitation of topographic conditions, belt drive is required for some special working conditions. There are generally three ways of belt drive, tail rack type, parallel type and back support type.

Pipeline configuration:

The feed pump of filter press produced by Dingqian pump is a press in suction pump with small suction lift. It is recommended that the feed liquid level be higher than the center of the pump. The pipe diameter of the feed inlet shall be the same as or slightly larger than the inlet diameter of the pump. In most cases, the slurry concentration transported is high, so the inlet pipeline should not be too long to avoid affecting material absorption.

The pipeline design of outlet and filter press diameter shall also follow the principle of short and straight, and parallel pipelines shall be used to minimize bends. For feeding to high places, the assumed height of the pipeline must be lower than the minimum head of the filter press. If the pipeline configuration is not good, it will usually increase the head loss of the special pump for the filter press, reduce the cake forming pressure and reduce the production efficiency of the whole system.
